Project Description:
The Central Energy Plant (CEP) is a 34MW natural gas-fired combined heat and power plant (CHP), and chilled water plant.  The CEP, also known by its delivery method, DBOOM (Design Build Own Operate Maintain) was a collaborative effort between DTE and Ford Motor Company.  The CEP is the heart of Ford Dearborn’s campus transformation that will supply power, steam heating, and hot and chilled water to buildings housing 30,000 employees throughout the 900-acre complex.
